It has never been more important to connect to nature and to each other. Which is why we created Sky Day Project - an open citizen artwork designed to promote creative collaboration and ecological citizenship. Request your free Sky Gallery Here .
What is Sky Day Project?
Sky Day Project is an open citizen artwork and portal to learning created by artist Ben Whitehouse. People post sky photos, sky drawings and sky paintings to the global mosaic and create Sky Galleries together as a class or group.
Are There Any Rules?
Yes. We have ONE GOLDEN RULE. Keep it all about the sky! No people, pets, buildings, horizons... just sky. Posts are filtered to make sure they are 'Sky Only' and scrutinized by a team with 'eyes on' behind the scenes to ensure Sky Day Project is suitable for all ages.
What Does Taking Part Mean?
We are one global family, living and breathing under one shared sky.
Our sky is beautiful, not just to look at but beautiful in the way it supports all life and protects us from the harshness of space
No other natural resource connects us across cultures and borders in quite the same way as our dynamic sky. We don't all have ocean experience or desert experience but we all share sky experience
'Sky' is not just above us but all around us. It is the air we breathe and the water we drink. We should take great care of it for each other
